NIOS
The National Institute of Open Schooling is a national board under the Ministry of Education. iGurukulam prepares children along the NIOS pathway from the early years to the secondary (10th) and senior secondary (12th) examinations.

Indian Knowledge Systems

Frequently asked questions
No. Every class is live and nothing is recorded. This keeps the class a place where children speak freely and keeps your child's image off any server. If a class is missed, the class teacher tells you what was covered and which pages to work on.
Live classes are held in the morning with a break after every period, and afternoons are for offline work from the book kit. The exact timetable depends on the level and is shared before the year starts.
NIOS is a national board under the Ministry of Education, and its secondary and senior secondary certificates are recognised for further study.
Teachers mark every assignment and leave a comment. Over time the marks build a topic-by-topic picture of your child's strengths and the areas that need practice, and you see it on your dashboard alongside attendance and feedback.
